Fra le testimonianze storico - artistiche di Sestola la rocca è sicuramente di grande interesse, rappresentando il suo nucleo più antico.

All'ingresso si trova un'ampia corte su cui si affacciano vari palazzi. la Torre dell'Orologio, del XIV secolo, un tempo sede del governatore, la Casa del Cancellerie, della Regione, la Canonica e un piccolo oratorio con affreschi quattrocenteschi.

La rocca è stata restaurata più volte e ricostruita nel 1570 da Alfonso d'Este.

Fu poi trasformata in Osservatorio meteorologico (1888) ed in Centro Estivo per bambini.

 Of Sestola's artistic and historical heritage, the castle complex, the town's oldest village, is of particular interest.

At its entrance there is a wide courtyard surrounded by various buildings and residences; the clock tower (14^th century - once the governor's office), the registrar's office, the regional council house, a parsonage and a little oratory with some 15^th century frescos.

The fortress has been restored several times and was rebuilt in 1570 by Alfonso d'Este. It was then transformed into a meteorological observatory in 1888 and also a summer centre for children.
